Exit 148B - Corporate Centre Drive aerial picture
This exit is only accessable from the southbound lanes of the interstate. It's an interesting exit. For lack of a better word, it's its own C/D exit. You exit from the exit ramp to get to Corporate Centre Drive. Theoretically, this makes a good bypass of slower drivers on the mainline. (Not that I've ever done that.....) This page also has all of the pictures for the new crossings over Monument Creek, both the mainline bridges and the collector/distributor roadways.
Original pictures - taken April 2005

On Corp Centre Drive close to the Woodmen exit. The metal railing used here is normally only used on bridges.

- 11/29/05
More construction goodness from the NB C/D area.
- 11/29/05
Looking at the landing point of the SB C/D bridge. It's taking a little more work to get this side ready. <
- 11/29/05
This construction is taking place on the still-open trail. The trail is being controlled by flagmen.
- 11/29/05
Looking over the creek at continued work on the SB C/D road.
- 11/29/05
See? The trail is still open. Just not used much right now since it's getting cold.
- 11/29/05
The trail may be open, but we're still in quite an active construction area. Always stay alert!
- 11/15/05
This exit is still open, but you can not re-enter the interstate here anymore.
- 11/15/05
The restriping across the merege lane is the only indication the exit's onramp is closed.
- 11/15/05
Supports have been installed for the installation of the NB C/D road's bridge pillars.

- 11/15/05
Work continues across the creek from the trail.
- 11/15/05

- 11/15/05
And it looks like they're not done yet
- 11/15/05
Looking across Monument Creek from north of the SB lanes
- 11/8/05
Due to Monument Creek becoming Monument Pond between the two temp roads, crews installed a waterway.
- 11/8/05
I don't understand why the streetlight on the bridge had to be removed.
- 11/8/05
The access roads now have Stop signs and Bike Crossing signs on both sides of the trail.

Nice shot of the SB access road, the SB lanes, and the NB lanes.

North of the Rockrimmon exit along Mark Dabling, I spy the temporary cement batch facility.
- 11/8/05
Nobody apparently knows how to close doors at this batch facility.
- 11/1/05
Land has been flattened and stakes have been planted just to the south of the NB lanes.

- 11/1/05
Crews have built an access road that leads to the SB Rockrimmon offramp.

The hillside is starting to go away. This soil is extremely sandy; the construction here should be fun.
- 11/1/05
The onramp to SB 25 has now been permanently closed..
- 11/1/05
...much to the annoyance of this driver. The offramp is still open and is expected to be until mid-2006.
- 11/1/05
COSMIX crews did a slightly half-assed job of closing this ramp. There's 2 of these barricades on the ramp's C/D road.

On the Monument Creek trail, we discover this sign.

Uh-oh. Those of you with I-25 exit lists and stripcharts be ready to update them.
- 10/27/05
"Pernmently"?? Ouch. But it gets the point across.
- 10/20/05
Creating a temporary roadway for the construction trucks. The NB bridge is the one on the left.

- 10/20/05
Looking south down the trail. The SB bridge is the first one we see
- 10/20/05
More planted stakes. Looking north on the trail. The construction zone ends just a few feet from where we stand.
- 10/20/05
The end of the plastic barrier marks the beginning of the construction zone.
- 10/20/05
Utilities relocation and sewer system installation along the trail leads to this rare sign specimen.
